USTR Extends Certain Exclusions from China Section 301 Tariffs to Aug. 31

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) on Saturday, May 31, announced the extension of exclusions in the Section 301 Investigation of China’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation. 
The exclusions were previously scheduled to expire on May 31 but have now been extended to Aug. 31. Exclusions include: 164 exclusions previously extended on May 30, 2024.14 exclusions covering certain solar manufacturing equipment that were announced on Sept. 18, 2024, in connection with the 4-year review. See this related Federal Register notice for more details.
