Lisa was born in Germany while her father was in the Army and stationed there. Her family moved to Atlanta when she was a small child. She graduated in 2004 from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Lisa began working for Lee Hardeman Custom’s Broker, Inc in 2005 as a receptionist, and moved to the operations department in 2006. This was her first introduction to Customs regulations, and she began learning how to classify products by assigning tariffs to them, run entry summaries, and place customs bonds, eventually becoming our bond manager. Lisa was licensed as a CHB in 2007, and she became CCS certified in 2008, coincidentally the same year she got married. She and her husband, who is a professor at Georgia State, have two girls – a preschooler and a toddler. She enjoys travelling, reading, and finding new recipes to try out on her husband.
